VALLE NEVADO located 46 kilometers east of Santiago de Chile English

This ski center constitutes the main mountain resort of the Andes Mountain Range and is open all year round.

Valle Nevado, the largest ski center in South America, is located 46 kilometers east of Santiago de Chile. It has an excellent quality of snow, for its height and orientation and a privileged climate, with 80% of days cleared in the season.

Since 1998 Valle Nevado began to develop as an integral center and the Andes Express chairlift, the first disengageable lift in South America, was inaugurated in 2001, which sets it apart from other ski resorts in the region.

Since then Valle Nevado has been concerned with remodeling its hotels, having first class facilities such as two boarding mats on the El Prado and El Mirador lifts, and the Magic Carpet in the Snow Garden; in addition to the Lead Viewpoint.

In 2010, new lifts, a double chairlift and a teleski were installed, as well as opening 5 new tracks. Work began on Curve 17, where more than 300 new parking lots and points of sale for equipment rental, ski school and ticket offices were enabled.

Currently, the facilities of La Fourchette restaurant and Hotel Valle Nevado have a completely renovated environment, oriented to the comfort, enjoyment and rest of its passengers.
For its excellent facilities, Valle Nevado since 2003 is home to one of the dates of the Snowboard World Cup.

Valle Nevado is also a few kilometers from the La Parva and El Colorado ski centers, forming Los Tres Valles de los Andes, which offers multiple possibilities for mountain activities and excursions in winter and summer.

During the stay in Valle Nevado, during a full week of seven nights or a miniweek of three and four nights, you can visit other nearby ski resorts such as La Parva and El Colorado.
